STARS of athletics, football and netball will join in 40th anniversary celebrations at the Knox Little Athletics Centre this month.

The Come Back to Knox Family Fun Day

is one of a series of events being held during this athletics season to mark the milestone.

Organisers are inviting those involved with the Knox Little Athletics Centre and its clubs since 1968 to join the celebrations.

The family fun day features Australian sprint star and former Knox Little Athlete Aaron Rouge-Serret, former StKilda footballers Jason Heatley and Kristian Bardsley, plus Melbourne Vixens netball hero Ash Howard.

A commemorative DVD Moments in Time, produced by Swinburne University's Wantirna campus, will be shown.

There will also be a display of CFA fire trucks, police motorcycles and Ford Mustangs and EH Holdens, and the chance to take part in the Royal Children's Hospital Relaython.

The Family Fun Day will be at the Knox Athletics Centre, Bunjil Way, Knoxfield, November 22, 11am-3pm.
