ROLL up, roll up - the circus has come to Knox.
Circus Sunrise is at Knox City O-Zone on Burwood Highway until July 12.
Its one-hour show features clowns, jugglers, catwoman the acrobat, diabolos, hula hoops and cowboys whip-cracking.
A highlight is a breathtaking performance on the trapeze without any safety nets.
The circus is a family affair with Rosita Belli Meatchem performing a knife-balancing act and husband David Meatchem playing Antonio the clown. Of their children, Harmony-Jade does a balancing act, Melody-Rose is a juggler and Antony-James performs as a clown.
Other performers come from Germany, England and Singapore.
Since 1996, the show has travelled to Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, South Africa and Mauritius.
Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for children in general seating and $25 for adults and $15 for children ringside.
Showtimes are 1pm and 7pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 1pm, 4pm and 7pm on Saturday and 1pm and 4pm on Sunday.
"The show is performed in an intimate atmosphere with the audience no more than 10metres away from the performance," said David Meatchem.
